“I think it’s so interesting because in the world of professional sports, we talk about players associations, collective bargaining agreements all the time,” Heidrick said. “These have all been the words that we have known in the likes of the NFL, the NBA, Major League Baseball, professional hockey. It’s all part of the landscape. And as the WNBA has grown, especially exponentially in the last probably 5 to 10 years, this is something that’s now becoming much more of a commonplace in the conversations we have about the W.”
