Walter said one of his biggest surprises of the draft was projected first-round pick Shyanne Sellers falling to the Valkyries at No. 17 overall.

“She’s a point guard, and she shoots the ball decently well, but I just wonder if she’s one of those kids that like she could go in the W and be the steal of the draft and like we could all be talking and be like, I can’t believe this many people passed on her,” he said “But I also could see like, it’s hard to say how she fits because of a lot of times we talk about like in college you are there to win games, and that’s why coaches don’t always super do a great job preparing their players (for the WNBA).”
