The matchups for the 2020 Big 12/SEC Women’s Challenge have been set, the conferences announced Thursday.

The first-ever Women’s Challenge was held in 2014 with only two teams from each conference and expanded in 2016 to include all 10 teams from the Big 12 and a selected 10 from the SEC’s 14. In 2016, the SEC defeated the Big 12 6-4 and the two conferences split the challenge in 2017 and 2018. Last season, the Big 12 emerged victorious.

Here are the full matchups for this year’s challenge:

South Carolina @ Iowa State

Kentucky @ Kansas State

Alabama @ Oklahoma State

Texas A&M @ Texas

Tennessee @ West Virginia

Baylor @ Arkansas

Kansas @ Ole Miss

Oklahoma @ Georgia

Texas Christian University @ Missouri

Texas Tech @ Vanderbilt

Notably, Texas and Texas A&M will face off against each other for the first time since 2014, when the Longhorns edged out a 67-65 win. Arkansas is set to compete in the Women’s Challenge for the seventh straight year, and will host Baylor after coming off its best-ever SEC season in which the Razorbacks finished third in the conference and were set to compete in the NCAA tournament for the first time in five years before the the COVID-19 pandemic ended the season early. The Lady Bears, led by Kim Mulkey, won their third national championship last year and defeated Arkansas 111-43 the last time the two teams met in December.

Official game information and start times will be announced at a later date. The tournament usually takes place in late fall and typically features five home games on campus sites for each conference per year, however, given the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., it remains to be seen when and how these games will actually be played.
