Leite starts out the show by explaining the details and dynamics of the Unrivaled 1-on-1 tournament. She asks Knox on his thoughts on the tournament, and if he’s been enjoying it. “Yeah, I love it,” Knox says. “They’ve made the 1-on-1s feel a lot bigger [than that], from the intros, to the music, to the ‘pre-fight interviews.’ … You really see the competitiveness come out.”
Later on, Leite and Knox talk about Napheesa Collier. As she’s currently dominating the Unrivaled scene, Leite asks Knox if he expects Collier to play at the same level when the WNBA season starts up. “I think yes,” Knox says. “She’s motivated already by losing the championship last year. I think that’s going to be her motivation coming into this year. … She’s not the most outspoken … I think sometimes people forget how great she is.”
Leite and Knox close out the show by making some bold predictions for the 2025 WNBA season. Knox’s big prediction? He sees the New York Liberty bringing home the trophy again.
