2025 All-Star 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge competitors announced
Allisha Gray will look to defend both her Skills Challenge and 3-Point titles from 2024, when she was the first to win both in the same year
The WNBA 2025 All-Star Weekend is rapidly approaching. The league has already revealed the starters and reserves for the All-Star Game, and now it’s announced which players will be participating in both the Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest. The list of athletes participating in these competitions includes first-time All-Stars, veterans, and previous winners.

Returning to the 3-Point contest is previous winner New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu. The University of Oregon alum made her debut in the event in 2023 and made 25 of her 27 shots. In the final round she recorded 37 out of 40 possible points — breaking the single-round record for the WNBA and the NBA.
Allisha Gray came out on top, however, during the 2024 All-Star weekend. With this win, the Atlanta Dream guard became the first player in WNBA history to win both the 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge in the same year. This year, she’ll have the chance to do that all over again.
Washington Mystics guard Sonia Citron is the only rookie competing in the 3-Point Contest. In her first season in the WNBA, the Notre Dame alum became the first rookie in franchise history to post a 25+ point, 10+ rebound game.
Here’s a list of who will be competing in both the 3-Point Challenge and Skills Challenge during the All-Star Weekend:

All-Star Weekend kicks off on Friday, July 18 at 8 p.m. ET with the 3-Point Contest and Skills Challenge. ESPN will broadcast both from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, the home court for the Indiana Fever. The WNBA All-Star Game will then be held on Saturday, July 19 at 8:30 p.m. and can be viewed on ABC.
