The United Center is the home of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. The Chicago Sky previously played their first-ever games at the United Center on June 7 and July 27, taking on the Indiana Fever. Both games saw sell-out crowds.

“We’re ecstatic to host the 2026 WNBA All-Star game and build on the two sell-out Chicago Sky games played at the United Center this year,” Jerry Goldman, United Center vice president of booking, said in a statement. “We look forward to partnering with the Sky and the WNBA to create an unforgettable experience in Chicago.”

The Chicago Sky shared the news on X with the caption, “NEXT STOP: WNBA ALL-STAR.”

The 3-Point Contest and WNBA Skills Challenge will also be a part of All-Star weekend on July 24, but the events will be held at the Sky’s home base, Wintrust Arena. The WNBA will also host an interactive fan festival, which will be at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

The 2022 WNBA All-Star in Chicago saw Team Wilson defeat Team Stewart 134-112. Sky guard Allie Quigley won her record fourth 3-Point Contest, becoming the first player to do so.

The 2025 All-Star Game was held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, the home of the Indiana Fever. Chicago forward Angel Reese played on Team Collier, which beat Team Clark 151-131.
