The episode also covers the struggles in Dallas, including their third straight loss and key rotation changes. Paige Bueckers continues to impress with her Rookie of the Year campaign but briefly exited the game due to a back issue. Maddy Siegrist returned from an 18-game absence, and Grace Berger earned high praise for her elevated play. “Grace Berger needs a regular role in this league,” Megdal asserts. “She is a WNBA-quality point guard.”

Later in the show, Natalie Heavren joins to break down the whirlwind of rumors surrounding the Connecticut Sun’s future. While the Mohegan Tribe recently confirmed the team would stay in Connecticut through 2026, reports emerged that a Boston Celtics minority owner could purchase and move the franchise to Boston. Heavren reacts, saying, “It didn’t come as a surprise to see the Boston report … but what was more of a surprise was seeing that Hartford bid pop up right after.” With potential moves to either Hartford or Boston, and the lack of a proper practice facility still a major issue, the Sun’s future feels uncertain.
