Cruse discussed Bueckers’s decision-making navigating ball screens on offense:
She definitely more of [a] low-risk playmaker. She’s not gonna make the craziest decisions, but whenever she is operating ball screens … she’s making the right read almost every single time. We’ve talked about it for years now, as we’ve done this podcast, Paige’s processing speed and how she just sees the floor on both ends is just truly unreal.

Shafer on why Miles’s defense so far is not a significant concern:
[Bueckers and Miles] both have preternatural processing ability that allows them to see the court, to know where everyone’s is on the court, and to just kind of deal with problems as they arise defensively. And that is something that will absolutely keep them on the floor, along with the great scoring and passing and the ability to lead an offense at a high level.
