2023 McDonald’s All-American Girls’ rosters announced

The 2023 McDonald’s All-American Game rosters were announced on Tuesday during ESPN’s NBA Today, with 6’0 guard Juju Watkins, USC commit and No. 1 ranked prospect and 6’0 guard Mikaylah Williams, LSU commit and No. 2 ranked prospect, headlining the rosters.

Girls from all over the country are set to meet in Houston on March. 28, 2023, for the event at Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets. Heading into the game, Arizona, LSU, South Carolina, UConn and Notre Dame have two recruits each. There are no undeclared recruits this year. Unlike last year, the players are already assigned to the East and West teams this time.

The players were selected from an index of 722 nominees. These nominations were made by prep scouts, coaches, the nation’s top analysts and the media based on select criteria.

The McDonald’s All-American Game has produced players like Sophie Cunningham and Nneka Ogwumike over the years, that have gone on to play basketball at the highest level subsequently. “I’m excited Houston gets to be the proving ground for the next generation of high school basketball players in 2023 and I can’t wait for the city to show this class what we’re all about,” said Ogwumike.

The girls’ game will air on ESPN 2 on Tuesday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
