Cheryl Reeve joins us on Thursday, October 28, and takes your questions

The head coach and general manager of the Minnesota Lynx joins us for a subscriber *only* event.

Lights, camera, and Cheryl Reeve. (Yes, she is a coach and a general manager, but those who listen to her show know she is also an entertainer.)

It’s been quite a 25th WNBA season that came to a close on Sunday afternoon. So to celebrate it and to look ahead to the 26th season, along with the upcoming women’s college basketball season and a busy offseason ahead for the W, we’ll have none other than Minnesota Lynx head coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve join us for an exclusive subscriber-only event on Thursday, October 28 on Zoom at 1 PM ET.

Reeve is a six-time WNBA champion who led the Lynx to titles in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017. Before taking the helm in Minnesota in 2009, Reeve won two other WNBA championships in 2006 and 2008 as an assistant on the Detroit Shock working beside head coach Bill Laimbeer. Since 2014, Reeve has served as an assistant coach for the USA Basketball women’s team. She helped head coach Dawn Staley and the Team USA earn a gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo along with taking home two gold medals from the FIBA World Championships in 2014 and 2018.

Also, Coach Reeve will answer all and any of our paid subscribers’ questions. Become a paid subscriber, and you can ask her about the Lynx, the state of the WNBA, the potential changes to the playoff structure, college prospects, Athletes Unlimited, and more.

So what’s Next (the pun was intended of course)? How do you get the opportunity to chat with Reeve? All you have to do is subscribe to The Next and poof, that Zoom link is all yours.

This is the latest example of how we at The Next give our paid subscribers inside access 24/7/365 into the world of women’s basketball. Our mission remains to provide consistent coverage to women’s basketball that currently doesn’t always exist across the mainstream sports media landscape. By subscribing, you can help us change that forever.
