Howard and Angie start the episode by getting right into it, as Howard asks Angie what she thought was the most memorable moment from the Big Ten Tournament. “That Nebraska-Iowa battle for the ages,” was Angie’s immediate response. She lauded Caitlin Clark’s performance but made sure to add that there is so much more to the team than just Clark. Angie also gave a shout-out to Nebraska for making an “unexpected run to the finals,” and gave credit to Maryland for its “huge win over Ohio State,” which solidified its spot in the NCAA field. Angie and Howard gave some extra air time to Nebraska’s Jaz Shelly, whose performance was near “most outstanding player” levels.

Howard and Angie then moved onto discussing Penn State and Michigan’s futures come Selection Sunday. Angie confirmed that, after seeing Penn State live last week, they “look like an NCAA tournament team,” but Michigan is a bigger question. Angie questions if they did enough; they don’t have any bad losses on their schedule, and they played a tough non-conference schedule, but their future remains unclear.
