She discusses how she made Atlanta into a top-five defensive team in 2022 as Tanisha Wright‘s top assistant and aims to do the same in Indiana. Plus, discussion about Em Engstler‘s ceiling, next steps for Kelsey Mitchell and NaLyssa Smith, and whether there’s anyone in the 2023 draft who might fit in with a desire to build around a defensive monster at the five.

“You know, you look back at what [Fever general manager Lin Dunn] did last year in the draft, and I just think it’s a remarkable thing; it’s a very hard thing to get right. And I think it’s fair to argue that she got, she went five-for-five, in terms of players who were able to contribute. Now, this was a roster where everyone was gonna play, you know, you’re gonna get to see them.
