Locked on Women’s Basketball: Indiana Fever is here!
By The Next
Howard and Tony talk about the early success the Fever have had this season

It’s time for another episode of the Locked on Women’s Basketball podcast. This one features host Howard Megdal and beat reporter for the Indiana Fever Tony East.
Howard and Tony talk about the early success the Fever have had this season:
“No, especially because entering the season success was not really a word that they were using or saying when discussing the upcoming season. It was improvement improvement improvement and that has been there and led to success. And success is a funny word talking about a one and two team. But they’ve looked way better along the way than they did last year.”

Tony talks about the rookies and what they have been doing on the defensive end for Indiana:
“The standout one that sort of changed the dynamic from last year. I’m going to credit one vet and one rookie here since you brought up rookies is Queen Egbo. From the rookie perspective, when they drafted or they touted like Queen Egbo can be mobile on the perimeter and be this defender who can move around. But also still hang inside and make Sylvia Fowles life as hard as anyone can make.”
