Howard and Jenn discuss the Washington Mystics draft party that Jenn attended. Here is what she had to say:
“Most of the fans I spoke to at the draft party were expecting Shakira Austin. And Washington got Austin and the fans were extremely excited, jumping up and down, screaming.”
Jenn speaks about how Austin can fit with the Washington Mystics:
“I think she is a phenomenal pick, coach Thibault was asked on draft night, whether he picked her for her defense or her rebounding. Coach Thibault then said, I feel like this is a test, can I pick all of the above? He is so excited about her especially on the defensive end.”
