Locked on Women’s Basketball: The New York Liberty have… Unfinished Business

Howard and Jackie attended the premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival Monday night and filled us in on the night

It’s time for another episode of the Locked on Women’s Basketball podcast. This episode features host Howard Megdal and New York Liberty reporter Jackie Powell. The two discuss Allison Klayman’s new film, Unfinished Business. Howard and Jackie attended the premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival Monday night and filled us in on the night.

Jackie and Howard talk more about the event and what it was like to walk the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival:

“Well, let me just clarify. I [Jackie] did not walk the red carpet. You [Howard] did because you were in the film, although my voice was in it, which was unexpected. And that was super exciting.

A tribute to your reporting, you [Jackie] asked a question that was important enough that it ends up in a movie. So I thought that was just right. The film is called Unfinished Business Allison Klayman latest and it looks at the New York Liberty past and present. And even a little bit of a hint into the future.”

Jackie talks about who was the best dressed on the red carpet of the Unfinished Business film:

“I think Marine Johannès wins that category. She looks so European because I mean she is but I’d say in like the dress body suit category I think DiDi Richards probably wins which isn’t a shocker.”
